Gizem Dursun, an early stage researcher, completed her secondment from ARGENIT to FBUB on topic of ‘Standardization and benchmarking’.
Gizem worked on segmenting the videos of the cells in order to automatically find their boundaries. By analyzing the changes in the intensity of the fluorescent signals obtained from the cells, the so-called Regions of Interest are automatically determined during the segmentation process. Records of these signals in time are further analyzed, which is what Andrej Korenić is working on.
