Andrej Korenić, an experienced researcher, completed his secondment from FBUB to ARGENIT on topic of ‘Pilot platform design’.
Andrej worked on implementation of Machine Learning (ML) algorithms both in Supervised and Unsupervised manner for automated analysis of biomedical signals. In order to label the traces and separate them into different groups (classes), both feature extraction (traditionally signal analysis) and instance-based learning were tested in order to discover proper ‘ground truths’.
Results were promising for both approaches and the work continues after the secondment.
