Željko Janićijević, a technical staff, completed his secondment from FBUB to ELVESYS on topic of ‘Pilot platform design’.
Željko worked on the design and validation of the microfluidic system within the lab platform. Two main tasks were to design a resealable microfluidic device and the corresponding flow control system for accurate solution dosing. The complete microfluidic system within the lab platform needed to be compatible with fluorescent microscopy imaging and special cell culture requirements.
