Dušica Kočović, an early stage researcher, completed her secondment from FBUB to UCONN on topic of ‘Standardization and benchmarking’.
More specifically, Dušica worked together with senior researchers Milena Milošević and Srdjan Antić, on setting up an experimental method for monitoring spontaneous neuronal activity in primary neuronal cultures, harvested from mouse hippocampus. The main goal of this secondment was to establish a robust platform for analysis of acute effects of IgGs on neuronal activity.
