Basak Aru, an early stage researcher, completed her secondment from YEDITEPE to ELVESYS on topic of ‘Standardization and benchmarking’. During her secondment, Basak fabricated two different molds for the prototype design, tested flow and simulated cell seeding with polystyrene beads, and learned to use pressure controller.
Andrej Korenić, an experienced researcher, completed his secondment from FBUB to ARGENIT on topic of ‘Pilot platform design’. Andrej worked on implementation of Machine Learning (ML) algorithms both in Supervised and Unsupervised manner for automated analysis of biomedical signals. Türkay Şi̇mşek, an early stage researcher, completed his secondment from YEDITEPE to ELVESYS on topic of ‘Pilot platform design’. With Prof. Rashid Giniatullin and Prof. Pavle Andjus, Türkay made several preliminary drawings for the chip design.
