Date & Location
June 12-14, 2018
Seminar room 3208, Bioteknia 1, Neulaniementie 2, Kuopio
Course description
This course will focus on current research in the topic of mitochondria and reactive oxygen species (ROS) signaling. Students will participate in lectures given by national and international experts in the field of mitochondria and ROS signaling and become familiar with advanced techniques to visualize and study mitochondria and ROS in multiple settings. The students also have the option to participate in practical demonstrations and prepare a poster presentation on their own research topic.
Lectures are open to all students, postdocs and personnel. Maximum participant amount to the lectures is 50 persons. For the workshop total of 10 students are enrolled.
